I am a licensed professional counselor in the Cincinnati area where I have the pleasure of helping a variety of people heal from trauma and achieve mental wellness. I specialize in trauma using an Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) model to help clients get in touch with their emotions and work through emotions in real time. Another approach I use for trauma is Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients get to know themselves more and nurture parts of themselves that have been hurt or neglected. I also work with clients using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to improve mental health and decrease severity of symptoms.

I am trained to counsel clients who have experienced betrayal trauma through the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model in order to help clients experiencing this to receive the best care as they are healing.

I believe that empathy and deep listening is healing and can be life changing for painful emotions and experiences. I work to balance empathy with challenging my clients to help them get unstuck and live a fulfilling life within their unique set of values.
