My own life has been profoundly impacted by professional counseling, and this fuels my passion to support others on their healing journey with the same encouragement I have received.

I am a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) with specialized training in the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model, dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate the pain of betrayal trauma. My advanced credentials include training in the Early Recovery Couples Empathy Model (ERCEM) and completion of Level Two of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, allowing me to guide couples as they rebuild trust, connection, and hope. My therapeutic approach is further informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate model that addresses the roots of trauma and empowers clients to move toward wholeness and freedom.

In addition to my clinical expertise, I am a certified life coach, a SYMBIS facilitator (for premarital counseling and marriage mentoring), and a Brainspotting practitioner – a treatment method that helps identify, process, and release deeply held trauma and emotional pain.

Counseling is my second career. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Miami University, I spent over 20 years working in sales and market research for Fortune 500 companies. During that time, I also led divorce recovery and women’s support groups in the community. My commitment to helping others led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

I believe wholeheartedly in everyone’s capacity for growth and change, even in the face of life’s greatest challenges. My top priority as a counselor is to be an empathetic listener and provide a safe, supportive environment for my clients. I tailor my approach to your comfort level, build on your unique strengths, and teach practical skills you can use in your daily life – all delivered with care, patience, and encouragement.
